Safety Mission

It is the mission of Border Well Services, Inc. to provide customers with an elite service in the Oil and Gas Industry, while fully complying with all federal and state standards. The personal safety and health of each BWS employee and the customers we serve is of primary importance. BWS’s objective is a safety and health program that will reduce the number of injuries to an absolute minimum. To attain this objective, BWS establishes company safety goals and objectives, develops and implements a written safety and health program, facilitates employees’ safety training, ensures that management and employees are held accountable for performance of their safety responsibilities, and reviews the safety and health program annually and revises or updates it as needed or required.

Safety Certifications

• Safety Certifications are more than just a framed piece of paper on the wall at BWS.  As stated by the API (American Petroleum Institute), we “are committed to conducting business in a manner that protects the safety and health of our employees, others involved in their operations, customers, and the public.”
• In-house PEC Instructor (Safeland, SafeGulf)
• Certified breath alcohol/DOT urine specimen technician
• Certified Safety Coordinator in OSHA 30 hour General Industry Safety and Health course
• Yearly continuous ed training conducted for all employees
• In-house PEC H2S Clear 4-hour Instructor
• Every field employee is medically qualified, fitted and tested for respiratory devices (Full face: SCBA, Drager and Scott)
